In an emergency situation – fire, flood, a system compromised – an initial response is the desire to locate your people – family, friends, co-workers, staff, the community. Communication is essential as you seek to ensure that your people are safe. But did you consider that they can actually be of valuable assistance in a crisis? A web-based app is a technological solution whereby you can locate your dispersed members, but also organize them based on skill and role in an emergency, using a smartphone, a device that everyone has in their pocket or purse. The app can also keep your people informed with advisories, updates, maps and videos – getting information to the right people at the right time.
