Raising Capital 101 is for founders who are looking to learn more about the investment process or are ready to raise funds and want to know where to focus. Over 3 hours sessions, entrepreneurs will will walk away from the program with basic knowledge on funding literacy, a better understanding of the investment landscape and ready to pitch investors!
This cohort will be open to any founders.

In the first session on Apr 8, we’ll cover:
- What is VC investing
- What should be expected in fundraising
- Financial Forecasting & Projections
- Capital Strategy
- Pitch Elements & Storytelling
- Investor thought process.
After completing both Raising Capital 101 and 201, you’ll receive the following additional benefits:
- Investor Coach Assignment: 1-hour meeting with a Platform Investor Coach

Raising Capital Series is the first step for founders who are planning to raise capital in the next 12 months or for those who are interested in exploring the investment process. In this cohort, we split the Raising Capital Series into 101 and 201. We encourage participants to be engaged with both sessions.
